Arts, Character and Education (ACE) Afterschool Program

School-age children participate in enrichment activities to supplement their education. Utilizing an evidence-based model, the ACE Program helps underserved youth realize their potential.

The program provides engaging educational projects to help students become academically competitive, arts to build confidence, discipline and resilience, and consistent character development.

Through active learning projects, with an emphasis on STEAM projects, children receive hands-on academic instruction in a fun setting. Student grades and school assessments in reading and math are tracked and tutors are assigned.

Research shows arts-based activities are particularly effective in helping youth in underserved areas develop discipline and resilience. Children with exposure to these activities are more likely to persevere despite obstacles or set-backs.
